Terrain: Frostgrave Ulterior Motives and Red Herrings II

This pack of scatter terrain was in the discount bin at the game shop. I’ve always got room in my heart for these sort of inserts.

I thought about saving the arch for putting on a building. But then I remembered that I never get around to those kind of projects, so I should just take it. It could stand on its own as a magic portal, or maybe against a wall as a fancy entrance.

Underworlds: Spiteclaw’s Swarm

Spiteclaw’s Swarm is one of the first Underworlds warbands I bought almost two years ago. Finally I made the time to get it painted.

Skritch Spiteclaw

I’ve always liked the skaven. Swarms of rat-men, tainted by the warpstone. Plus, they fit well into most fantasy settings, so I could use the models with Relicblade or Rangers of Shadow Deep.

Krrk the Almost-trusted

Aww, look, he’s got a friend!

A lot of the earliers warbands don’t name all the characters. Time for some mooks!

Underworlds: Starblood Stalkers

I love me some lizardmen. So naturally I jumped to buy the lizardmen for Underworlds. It just may have taken me some time to get around to painting them.

Huachi

I followed the same red and grey scheme I used for my Blitz Bowl lizardmen.

Kixi-Taka, the Diviner

I quite like these Scale 75 metallics. It gives a nice bronze color.

Klaq-Trok

Klaq-Trok is the only saurus in the set.

Otapatl

Like their Blitz Bowl brothers, these models were mostly painted with GW Contrast paints, but with some washes and highlights to enhance the depth.

Tok

Look out for the blowgun!

Xepic

Look at all these skinks. We need another saurus in here!
