I’ve always been tempted by busts. Way back in 2018, I picked this one up from Black Heart’s microMANIA line at Adepticon. I was then promptly intimidated by it and didn’t get to it for years.
Well I finally got over myself and gave it a go. It’s mostly airbrushed, with some touch up after the fact.
I may not win any awards, but I’m happy with it as a first attempt.
This is the last of the Reaper Bones models that I primed literally years ago but didn’t get around to painting until recently. There were a number of similarly outfitted models in the set, but in my infinite wisdom I just picked the one.
The base has suggestions of some kind of tile floor. I gave it some greys to give it a ceramic look.
The best part of this wizard is his furry little friend. The stacks of books on the base comes close, but not quite enough.
This pair of kobolds were among the collection of Reaper models I had primed for years, and finally got around to painting. I decided to make them blue, because why not?
