Malifaux: Easter 2021 (Eggapult and Daredeviled Egg)

This year’s Wyrd Easter models are actually delayed from 2020. But better late than never!

Eggapult

The Eggapult is an alt Pigapult. How is it an Eggapult when the rabbit is in the slingshot? Don’t ask so many questions.

Like many of the alts in recent years, these models metal. The posts of the slingshot are separate pieces from the base, and it was a pain to get everything lined up. A little green stuff in the joint on the base went a long way.

Daredeviled Egg

The set also came with this single alt Stuffed Piglet. It’s rare that you’d just take one, but I dig the theme regardless.

Malifaux: McMourning Core Box (sans McMourning)

I already had painted up Vintage McMourning to use as a second master in crews. I figured I might as well get the full crew going. I like the vintage sculpt better, so kept the M3E version on sprue for bits or whatever.

Sebastian

The M3E sculpts certainly fill out the 40mm bases. Sebastian here is even more of a hunchback than usual.

The Flesh Constructs are no longer Frankenstein type zombies. They’ve got much more of a Sloth-from-Goonies look to them.

Zombie Chihuahua

Compared to the big guys, the Zombie Chihuahua is tiny. But at least he has some snacks.

Dark Eldar: Wyches

From time to time I’ll reach into the hobby vault to feature models painted before I started this blog.

It’s been a long time since I played 40k proper. But I still have the models. And most of them haven’t been featured on the blog.

Dark Eldar Wyches

At the time, the wyches were the assaulted-oriented troops for the dark eldar.

The yellow bases match colored sails I made for the transports, so you could easily see which squad was in which transport.
