I’ve had this model sitting in the pile for a while. I even painted up a bunch of Reva’s in-keyword models. It’s time.
This alternate sculpt for Reva is much more dynamic than the regular one. It also has the fire, which is a nice way to tie the collection together.
I got this owlbear as a freebie from Games of Berkeley when buying the components of the radstag project. I didn’t get to pick, but it’s a great random monster for the collection.
This version for Wizkids is one of the better models I’ve run into. It suffers for the soft PVC material, with very hard to clean mold lines. But the pose sells well as an owl with the strength of a bear, though I have a hard time imagining it flying. That’s okay, it can be a burrowing owlbear.
I always have mixed feelings about big models like the Malisaurus Rex. On the one hand, it’s infinitely cool. On the other hand, they can be a hassle to store, transport, and get on the table without knocking over other models.
Well, this time cool wins. This was painted partially as an experiment with using GW Contrast paints in the airbrush.
I don’t have any other Explorer’s Society, but the dino is Fae, so can be played with Titania in Neverborn. Though maybe now I need more Explorers…
I love me some Fallout beasties. This time, it’s the official sentry bot. It’s nice and big and chunky.
