The only thing better than a unit of weird cavalry is a weird cavalry commander. This guy is a bonus for getting the full army bundle from Black Site.

The model just comes with a banner pole; the construction of the banner itself is an exercise left to the reader. This is made out of an aluminum soda can, with paint a decals.

I’ve recently discovered I love weird cavalry. It might be the mounted gladiators of Arena Rex, or the buggies in Lunar. Today, it’s these dudes on weird birds.

I had some bad luck with the packaging for this set, with a couple of legs snapped. Fortunately, this resin takes superglue well and left a clean joint, so it they glued back together extremely cleanly.

I tried to do two colorations: black and blue. But they ended up pretty much the same.

The Tribesmen are the last group of infantry models from the Keth lineup. They’re in skirmish formation, so are individually based.

I like how the different units have different headgear, but they all have some sort of headband, which gives a uniform quality to them.

The crusaders are a neat mix of the napoleonic style of the royal guard (with the headbands and scarves) while giving it a more distinct medieval fantasy feeling (with maces and polearms).

The shields are large enough to beg for some detail. Random decals the rescue.
