These Juggernauts (nightmare Riotbreakers) are the Black Friday followup to this year’s Gencon nightmare models.
It’s always nice when there are a few more in-theme alts to work with.
Unlike the Weeping Huntress, these 40mm models fill out their bases nicely.
Although some of their helmets are a little silly.
Now that I’ve posted a bunch of feral Rashaar, I might as well post the leader.
The Partuul Martriarch is the tricky leader of the whole group. She has a bunch of new crybabies ready jump out of annoy the opponent.
Speaking of jumping, the bounding telechine is much better at jumping than walking.
And at last, the crybabies. These weird old man worms are fast annoyances. Just don’t expect them to live very long.
There are a handful of limited alternate sculpts in Carnevale. The Rashaar seem to get the bulk of them. This hammerhead karcharos is one of them.
I dig the deep scarring. I tried to make the wounds look fresh.
More big fish monsters! Or in this case, a crab monster.
The paint job is mostly airbrushed GW Contrast paints, with assorted drybrushing to bring out the details. Sometimes that technique fails me on naturalistic models, but this one has enough sculpted detail for my cheats to work.
