Relicblade: Bounty Hunter

The Bounty Hunter was one of the stretch goal individual models from the latest Relicblade Kickstarter. She continues my red hair obsession.

Bounty Hunter

She’s a fun single-piece model. I’d think the eyepatch would mess with depth perception when sniping with the crossbow, but who am I to argue? In game, she can move dodge tokens between characters, handy if you’ve got a rogue that’s thirsty for them.

Relicblade: The Moldorf Expedition

The Moldorf Expedition is the other new faction set from the latest Relicblade Kickstarter. As a new game mechanic, the Moldorfs are all neutral, meaning they can be hired into both Advocate and Adversary crews.

Moldorf Bibliothecary

I’d been painting a lot of greens and reds, so decided to make this set focus on blues.

Illusory Horror

The Illusory Horror featured airbrushed blends and some of the more delicately painted eyes in recent memory. Black teeth contribute to the nightmarish qualities.

Moldorf Hearthguard

I mixed up blue metallics for most of the armor, otherwise there wouldn’t be enough surface for my blue theme. Blue steel is cool, right?

Moldorf Shadowfoot

The Shadowfoot continues with my recent red hair obsession. He’s stocky but I still believe that he’s light on his feet. Plus he carries at least three daggers.

Relicblade: Gnome Battlesmith

The mounted Battlesmith was one of the models that sold me on Relicblade. Well, really it was his ibex. It was time he walked on his own two legs.

Gnome Battlesmith

Characters in Relicblade can’t be dismounted, but I painted him to match his mounted brethren anyways. The kit comes with an alternate head that seems to match the Woggie Woggelbuck Legends character, but I like the helmet version better.

Relicblade: Wilderkin

The Wilderkin are the final faction pack for the Advocates in Relicblade.

Stonekin Battleborn

The Stonekin is my favorite model out of the pack. His stony skin was shaded first with an airbrush, then washed and edge highlighted. In game he’s a tough and strong, but hungry for dice.

The Geomancer comes with two summable stones, although there’s no in-game restriction on the number. I like the less-common stone theme for the magic user.

Gnome Alchemist on Shadowfox

I always have trouble painting animals. Sometimes there’s enough texture on the model that I can cheat with a drybrush. The shadowfox is not such a beast.

I picked up the Battlesmith on Ibex as part of my original Relicblade purchase at Adepticon last year. The rules let you mix and match mounts and riders, so long as the size matches. So I drilled into both to insert magnets and make them swappable. I started with 1/16″, but that wasn’t strong enough. I had to drill out the magnets themselves (not recommended) to make room for 1/8″.
