The Crisis Protocol starter box has a nice set of heroes and villians to get your collection going. Here are the villians.

Baron Zemo gets the party started with a big sword. Look out, he’ll poke you.

Crossbones is the one character from this set I wasn’t previously aware of. Please feel free to revoke my geek card.

Doctor Octopus is the odd one out in this set, as the only non-Cabal character. But it helps to cement that you should mix and match.

I present you with the largest sugar cube ever produced!

Big metal models like this tend to turn out flat. I applied a lot of color with a drybrush at the end, which hopefully manages to avoid the worst of it.

Venom is the other Adepticon swag bag Crisis Protocol model. The models are nice hard plastic. Venom’s seams are better placed than Hulk’s.

These models are a lot of fun. I expect more will make their way to my hobby bench.

I’ve been eyeing Crisis Protocol for a long time. Hulk and Venom came in the swag back for the canceled Adepticon 2020, but the box sat unloved on my shelf. Until a buddy said he picked up the starter. I decided to put together my models to go along with some borrowed models in a demo game.

The game is a lot fun. The effective second life every model (except Hulk) gets gives your crew an interesting longevity. Plus, Marvel makes some fun characters.
