I grabbed the last Leika on the shelf at Adepticon, while the model was on prerelease. Naturally, I dawdled on actually painting her until long after she hit general release.

I’m not quite sure the net totally works, and the trident shaft is, as always, too flexy. It’s hard to compete with the raw awesome of Hagal after all.
I’m a well-documented sucker for limited models. So when Lupa became available, I had to have her. I used a combination of the red-violets of my Legio XIII and greens of some of my Zephyri so she’ll fit in with either. Arena Rex’s fluid faction system means it doesn’t really matter, but I’m not one to find clever combos.

This hammer, in resin with two contact points, is pretty much my nightmare, trying to keep things lined up and straight. At least it isn’t as painful as some of the spears.
Sulla seems like a venerable general. His body is a wirey, but he holds himself regally. My package was missing one of his arms, but the fine folks at Red Republic sorted me out.

Now I have two complete six-man cohorts, so I can plop the models down in front of somebody and make them play me. Or I can just keep the pretty pretty models on a shelf and enjoy them just as much.
Continuing to build out, Ywain joins the ranks. I kept the red violet color for most of the color, with a bit of the reds I used for boots on my Bolt Action models.
YwainThe model comes with a cloak, but I decided that a lot of the Legio XIII had cloaks, so I’d let Ywain leave it behind. Hopefully I can use it for an interesting conversion somewhere down the line, although Arena Rex models are slightly larger scale than most.
