Cyberpunk Combat Zone, like many modern skirmish games, uses a measurement widget for ranges instead of a standard tape measure. The official one is 12″ piece of flexible plastic, with red, yellow, and green range bands marked.
The flexibility is nice for things like measuring around corners. No pivot point like Crisis Protocol. But it’s awful for actually measuring range. You always need to use two hands to keep it from flopping over. There must be a better way
I just got a 3d printer. So I used this as an excuse to play with Fusion 360 and design something.
My print bed is barely too small to fit a 12 x 1 inch rectangle, even at an angle, so I had to print them on edge. I gave the borders a small chamfer to avoid supports.
