Ant-Man and the Wasp are super fun characters, zipping about a lot more than you’d think.
The tiny forms are still pretty big, but I guess it wouldn’t be much fun to have just a bare base with a little speck on it.
Wasp comes with transparent wings. I did my usual trick of using a varnish as a primer, then uses washes and contrast paint to add color while keeping it translucent.
New (to me) starter box means new terrain. I focused on the big new pieces, since I already have a decent table’s worth.
This one, oddly, doesn’t have a size listed on it. I usually play it as just decorative.
Uh oh, somebody already threw something at this poor business.
At least the pump is still operating.
I know almost nothing about these characters. I just thought they were funny.
I mean, there’s a shark coming out of this explosion?
And a squirrel doing the same pose on her bicep? What’s not to love?
Needs more red.
I’m moderately happy that there are distinct reds for the flesh, hair, cloak, and fire. Too bad the fire isn’t very fiery.
