And now on to the faction packs from the latest Relicblade Kickstarter

Saber Wolf’s shoulder pad has a ton of great detail.

I think the Sea Mistress is my favorite model of this whole campaign.

And everybody needs some minions.

Oh yeah it’s Relicblade time.

I’ve always wanted more general monsters from Metal King, and the latest Kickstarter delivered with these Ancient Dead.

They’re skeletons, but with that special Relicblade flavor.

I decided to go a little more uniform with the paint scheme. These are supposed to be background players. The pose gives them enough individual character.

I always struggle with fire, especially large amounts of it. I tried to bring some smoke into it, but the result is just dark.

Otherwise I like the bit of diversity between this and the Water Element Construct. Though give the history of unusual magic types (geomancer, bibliothecary, botanist), I hope the next one is something like an Acid Elemental, or Mud Elemental, or Time Elemental.
