The Night Terrors are annoying models. I don’t mean in game, I mean in real life. It was hard to line them up on their posts. They don’t fit in regular infantry spots in foam. On the plus side, they’re super fast in game.
I also screwed up assembling the models. They have front torso, back torso, and separate pieces for each wing. What I failed to realize what that the wings are keyed to go inside the torso. I didn’t realize until after I had glued some of the torsos together.
Trying to fix it, I snapped one of the arms for the dark purple Night Terror in half. Rather than fix it, I decided he would only have one pair of wings, and green stuffed the hole in.
Since Wyrd was kind enough to make an all-Resurrectionist set of limited models this Gencon, I get another alt master model.
Miss Feasance (alt Seamus)
So with an alt Seamus, an alt Sybelle from a while back, and 2nd edition minion boxes widely discounted, that just leaves me with the Copycat Killer to figure out. I have some ideas, though…
I got Vintage McMourning as a random promo a while ago. Now that I’m apparently doing Resurrectionists, it seemed appropriate to paint it up.
Vintage McMourning
I’ve taken McMourning as a second master in one game. He pretty much single-handedly won me the game. His ability to ignore a bunch of defensive abilities makes him super dangerous. Unfortunately, his discard-to-move-4″ ability doesn’t synergize with the Fading abilities that Molly brings to the table.
The Nightmare Brine and Bones box emphatically includes a hat for Archie. It even includes an alt stat card with the hat and the name Arrrchie. Who am I to argue?
Arrrchie
My friend Sean was kind enough to provide a cutlass from Wyrd’s old Driftwood Docks accessory pack, to complete the pirate theme.
I tried to use a couple skin tone variants to drive home the idea that the limbs had been stitched together, though it doesn’t come through much on the end product.
