The Hoarcats come three to a box. Back in the day, it was a Hoarcat Pride, and intended to all sit on the same 40mm base. Now they’re individuals, but seem undersized for a 40mm.
Hoarcat (solo)
The solution, of course, is to build up the base.
Hoarcats (pair)
I don’t see myself taking three cats, so I still put this pair on a single base. I wanted them to be fighting, but I managed to misalign one when gluing down. Ah well.
Paul Crockett has a lot of nice textures to work with. I especially amused myself by painting his coonskin cap as if it were alive. Perhaps Paul’s hat is his closest friend.
The Scorpius is a construct, but I wanted a metallic green that wouldn’t be out of place on an actual scorpion. I believe this is TurboDork’s Electrum.
Scorpius
The legs were hard to assemble, and I didn’t end up getting all the feet on the ground at the same time. Ah well, close enough.
Marcus needs some friends. The Cerberus got painted long ago, but here are some others.
Cojo
Cojo is a tough model because there isn’t much fur sculpted. I’m pretty happy with the transition between fur and a bald chest.
Razorspine Rattler
For the Rattler, I wanted to go bold with the colors. I especially like the purple stripe down his back, though some of the gap filling is clumsy at best.
