The Segawa ATLV looks like the most fun to drive of the Lunar vehicles. But hold on tight if you’re on the back.

The kit came with torsos for all four factions (USA, USSR, China, freelancer). I decided to go with the freelancers, so I could plausibly run it with whatever team. Magnetizing wouldn’t really work, since I’ve got strong faction colors and there’s only one set of arms and legs.

We can’t let the Americans have all the fun. I’m following a simply color scheme for Lunar, so the Soviet buggy gets the same brown as the cosmonauts.

This buggy looks much bulkier than the American one. I’m not sure buggy really captures it.

The lunar chase scene in Ad Astra is one of my favorite action scenes in recent years. There’s something about the combination of brutal fighting and clinical space setting that really excites me.

So it was the buggies that really sold me on Lunar. First up is the USA entry, the LRV Mk1.

Look out, here I come!

This little guy was a preorder bonus for Lunar. Maybe he can be a bonus objective marker.

Looking at it now, I wish I had made it into a Lunar child by trimming off the ears and tail. Ah well, missed opportunity.
