Fallout: Heroes of Sanctuary Hills (Male Sole Survivor, Dogmeat Scout, and Codsworth)

The Heroes of Sanctuary Hills box for Fallout Wasteland Warfare adds a three-pack of characters, including alternate stat cards for the Sole Survivor and Dogmeat.

Male Sole Survivor

The Sole Survivors get the classic blue vault jumpsuit. Instead of leather armor pads, like the starter box Sole Survivor, I went with metal. I’m much happier with the paint job on this one.

Dogmeat Scout

Dogmeat gets a cool bandana and goggles. The bandana is blue to match the Sole Survivor’s jumpsuits.

Codsworth

Codsworth gets pretty heavy weathering. It’s tough wandering outside for who knows how many decades.

Fallout: Boston Companions (Piper, Cait, and X6-88 Courser)

The Boston Companions box adds another three named characters to the Survivors faction.

Cait

Cait is my favorite of the bunch. Her pose projects power, although trying to actually use either weapon like that probably wouldn’t be too effective.

Piper

I think Piper is my least favorite of the set. The purple jacket came out funny, and the pose looks awkward. At least she has a brownie camera, although hers has faded to gray.

X6-88 Courser

I went with a raw ceramic look for Courser’s weapon, similar to my Genestealer Cult hybrids.

And with these models, the galleries now cover 1000 distinct models.

Fallout: Survivors Core Set

Unlike the starter set models, the standalone Fallout models are made of a hard resin. It holds much more detail and is easier to clean up mold lines. The Survivors core box is split, four named characters and four general purpose.

Each model has a specific scenic base, with holes placed to match pegs on the models’ feet. To make it easier to paint, I glued the sprue of each model to a temporary base, only gluing on arms, etc, as needed. That way I could paint the base separately, and reunite them later.

The four named characters all have nice differentiation, though I think Sturges has the most character.

The Scavengers/Settlers include two repeats from the starter box, though of the nicer resin material. I would have liked to see distinct poses.
