The canals are a defining part of the Carnevale experience. But nobody likes a featureless surface. Enter the floating debris.
These are made of the same resin as the rest of the Carnevale range. It’s a very simple set, but the barrels do a ton to sell the canal as a living place.
Now that I’ve posted a bunch of feral Rashaar, I might as well post the leader.
The Partuul Martriarch is the tricky leader of the whole group. She has a bunch of new crybabies ready jump out of annoy the opponent.
Speaking of jumping, the bounding telechine is much better at jumping than walking.
And at last, the crybabies. These weird old man worms are fast annoyances. Just don’t expect them to live very long.
There are a handful of limited alternate sculpts in Carnevale. The Rashaar seem to get the bulk of them. This hammerhead karcharos is one of them.
I dig the deep scarring. I tried to make the wounds look fresh.
More big fish monsters! Or in this case, a crab monster.
The paint job is mostly airbrushed GW Contrast paints, with assorted drybrushing to bring out the details. Sometimes that technique fails me on naturalistic models, but this one has enough sculpted detail for my cheats to work.
