Iason doesn’t get a lot of clothes, but at least he gets two blades. He came with both a metal and resin spear. I actually managed to lose the dagger, so used the tip from the resin spear to make a replacement.

Arena Rex: Hermes
Hermes gets a cool bent sword and has perhaps the most interesting damage tree structure in the game. Plus needing to spend favor to attack him is like free armor.
Arena Rex: Nero and Septimus
Each faction gets a beast and rider. For Ludus Magnus, it’s Nero with his rider Septimus.
Nero is is a nice bulky bull. I took the easy way out and did some shading with an airbrush and highlights mostly by drybrushing.
As my habit for Arena Rex mounts, I embedded small magnets in both beast and rider. In Nero’s case, that made it impossible to line up the reins.
But I think it’s less distracting to have not-quite-attached reins than it would be to cut them off entirely and have him just miming it. Bowstrings you can imagine, reins less so.
Arena Rex: Ludus Magnus Starter (Micon, Infelix, and Marcus Furius)
My collection of the Arena Rex range is filling out. Ludus Magnus is the last of the faction boxes.
Infelix needs a haircut.

Micon is the nemesis of anybody standing in the same ring as a pit. Down you go.
