Bushido<\/a> is another Adepticon pickup from last year that I haven’t actually played since. Well, at least I’ve got some models painted up. The first batch is the starter for Clan Ito, with a few adjustments.<\/p>\n

\"Akimoto\"<\/a>
Akimoto<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Clan Ito are snake people. Let’s get things started with a snake man. The basing is AK Interactive Muddy Ground<\/a> with AK Puddles and some Army Painter tufts.<\/p>\n

\"Chiyo\"<\/a>
Chiyo<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Chiyo shows off the wonder and the pain of the Ito models. They’ve got these really great swords and scabbards that stick out in interesting ways. Unfortunately they’re also separate parts. Thin separate metal parts. Too thin for me to comfortably pin. Long enough to catch on things and want to pop off. At least it isn’t saggy resin.<\/p>\n

\"Sakura\"<\/a>
Sakura<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The studio model for Sakura features an awesome tattoo on her back. I’m not nearly that confident with freehand. I’m just happy when skin turns out half decent.<\/p>\n

\"Temple<\/a>
Temple Bushi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I used Secret Weapon’s tire paints for the cloaks on some of these models. It gives a weird black-blue-green effect, which I find satisfying for these models.<\/p>\n

\"Kazuhiko\"<\/a>
Kazuhiko<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The starter set comes with\u00a0Itsunagi Ito. Unfortunately, mine came with two left arms. GCT Studios has taken care of it, but I subbed in Kazuhiko for this first batch. He’s not really a substitute in game, but he was the most straightforward of the remaining models in my stash.<\/p>\n

After start with a snake man, let’s end things with a snake woman. Unlike Akimoto, I went less naturalistic on the snake skin. Or maybe she’s got warning coloration<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
